IT Concepts (ITC) is seeking a Java Web Developer to join their team of technology experts in the Information Technology and Services industry. With a founding principle to “deliver technology concepts that work,” ITC has become an award-winning and top-performing company dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and teamwork. The Java Web Developer will play a critical role in creating and maintaining web applications and websites for ITC’s clients while upholding the company’s commitment to excellence and service.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop and support web applications using Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to ensure high-quality application development and deployment.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, technical requirements, and user manuals.
- Ensure that developed applications meet the requirements, policies, and standards of the company and clients.
- Investigate and debug reported issues and propose solutions to problems in a timely manner.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, software development methodologies, and industry trends.
- Participate in code and design reviews and maintain code quality and project standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of professional Java web development experience.
- Working knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Knowledge of Java web frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate and web services.
- Experience with Database systems such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have active TS/SCI
