We’re growing and we are looking to add a Web Designer (13 month full-time temporary position, Mat leave coverage) to our fast-paced and customer-oriented Marketing team.

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST – EST time zones in Canada (excluding Quebec).

Duration: January 2024 to February 2025

In the Web Designer role, you will:

  • Create exceptional experiences for prospective customers, including UX optimizations on the website, new landing pages, and accompanying digital marketing campaign materials like ads, email assets, data visualizations and social media content.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Contribute to marketing projects at every stage from initial ideation to final design execution and additional iterative improvements after delivery.
  • Advocate for Jungle Scout brand consistency by implementing brand and design best practices.
  • Share and present ideas, and design concepts with members of the Jungle Scout team at all levels.

Who you are:

  • Customer-Focused Web Designer with an Impressive Portfolio and Articulate Design Reasoning! You are a customer-focused web designer with 5+ years of experience working within an in-house marketing team or digital agency with a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality websites, showing expertise in user experience, interface design, and visual aesthetics. You have a comprehensive collection of work samples demonstrating your proficiency in marketing, website, and product design.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite: You should be a master of design tools, including Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant software.
  • Marketing/Product Department Experience: Your prior experience within a marketing or product department is crucial, as it will help you understand and align your designs with our business objectives.
  • Collaborative with the Ability to Provide Effective Feedback. You have experience directly communicating with stakeholders and website engineers to keep projects moving. You have collaborated remotely and are skilled at giving and receiving feedback constructively to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Delivering Outcomes: Everything you do is outcome-focused. You are results-oriented and have a track record of delivering tangible outcomes. Your dedication to accomplishing goals efficiently and effectively contributes to your team’s overall success.
