Our client, a leading national laboratory testing and clinical services facility, is seeking a creative Web Designer to work with marketing, product, and digital teams to understand their digital content needs, then translate those needs into functional pages for their website.

Remote, candidates must be based in US and willing to support EST business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Will act as point for all web content development & campaigns. This includes the full spectrum of development from initial work (i.e. taking wire-frames and/or mockups and turning them into functional web pages) through completed launch (testing and publishing of those pages).
  • As our Web Designer you will utilize and push the possibilities of our platform AEM (Adobe
    Experience Manager) to create intuitive, attractive pages and content that engage our customers.
  • Design and build out visual elements and final layouts for desktop and mobile using AEM and Adobe Commerce.
  • Create functional mockups on staging environment of our website.
  • Work closely with developers to help determine, test, and set up reusable components.
  • Design and make edits to images, graphics and iconography for our website utilizing graphic design software.
  • Connect with internal teams and translate their needs into website pages.
  • Research and evaluate new web trends. Provide insight by documenting findings to contributeto group knowledge and innovation.
  • Provide technical recommendations and support for web page design and video-related efforts.
  • Help establish and maintain ecommerce web standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with all teams and ensure work is completed to specifications, while meeting multiple, competing timelines.Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience (e.g., online publishing, website management, digital marketing) in a corporate setting.
  • Must be highly proficient working in leading CMS & ecommerce platforms. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Commerce/Magneto strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS as well as digital best practices, including search engine optimization, code validation, and writing for the web.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Workfront.
  • High attention to detail, including the ability to spot small typos or problems with written, video and visual content and plans.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
  • Awareness of UI/UX principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize, work deadlines and problem-solve.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.Compensation: $45-55/hr DOE
