What You Will Do:

As the Vice President of User Experience Design at Vista, your vision will inspire and delight our global Vista customers every day. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be the most senior leader of overall customer user experience design for the organization.

This leader will guide a multi-disciplinary UX Design team embedded across the organization in creating world class experiences. This individual will set direction, provide inspiration and create a collaborative environment with opportunities for continuous learning. They will develop differentiated products and cohesive experiences, while also building strong relationships across the organization to advance the User Experience subject area and its impact. Central to this role is partnering closely with the Executive Team, as well as key leaders across Product Management, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, and CARE supporting the strategy and delivery of digital experience across customer segments.

This leader will be passionate about innovation from conception through delivery, and ongoing operations including:

  • Responsible for leading all aspects of user experience design across Vista’s portfolio of Print, Digital and Design solutions.
  • Set a direction, coalition build and encourage collaboration while holding cross-functional teams accountable to the direction.
  • Lead teams to turn strategic vision into inspiring ideas, designs, and execution of differentiated experiences
  • Deliver quality output that supports high levels of customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Collaborate and present work to achieve ‘buy-in’ from various partners across the organization
  • Contribute significantly to a culture of ideas and innovation
  • Engage with customers and customer-facing teams to understand their needs
  • Manage custom research to guide informed decision-making at all product lifecycle phases
  • Keep abreast of competitive product & industry trends, contributing to product roadmaps
  • Foster a strong, user-centered design practice with the mission of evangelizing UX + design, building a thriving design culture, and sharing your design expertise.

  • 12+ years of experience in areas of design, design strategy, and team management with organizations that have defined great customer experience
  • 3+ years building and leading global teams
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations with multiple products and lines of business
  • Experience building strong cross-functional relationships with design, creative, technical and business partners; experience influening executive team members.
