Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Product to oversee the Health Rules Payer line of products. As the Vice President of Product, you will own the strategic direction and feature requirements for the products driving AI & Cloud innovation and ensuring competitive differentiation.
You will be responsible for leading the product management team and work closely with product engineering, customer success, implementation, commercialization, sales and marketing teams to ensure the successful creation and execution of our product roadmap.
The VP will also create a high-level vision, product requirements, roadmap, perform market research, assist in go-to-market strategy, and work with technology and business partners. In addition, the VP will evangelize the HealthRules Payer line of products with our customers. This role requires a understanding of healthcare regulatory landscape, as well as strong leadership and management skills to oversee teams based in the United States and India.
The Product:
With HealthRules Payer, our integrated solutions suite includes the industry’s leading, digital, next-generation claims administration processing system, business intelligence, integration capabilities, a unique to industry configuration and promotion application, and home and host processing support available on both public and private clouds. The fact is, a Core Administrative Processing System (CAPS) needs to do much, more more than just core administrative processing. What you will do:
- Define and manage the definition of product vision and strategy.
- Identify new products or enhancements to existing products by understanding and analyzing user needs, HE’s current product suite and customer business requirements.
- Establish organization KPIs around product strategy as well as delivery, and continuously improve the development process, documenting learnings from the development of each solution.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the US and India product management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, from concept to launch to adoption, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs. Identify market opportunities, perform competitive analysis, and engage with industry analysts.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage and measure the success of your products with detailed analysis on cost, pricing, and margin across our cloud offerings.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management leaders across the Enterprise to determine integration opportunities with HE portfolio of applications.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering leaders to drive continuous improvement of Agile development.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define product goals, objectives, and performance metrics, and regularly report on progress and achievements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Direct best in class, formal product documentation such as feature sheets and user guides.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10 + years of extensive experience in product management of enterprise application suite, preferably in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex enterprise software products.
- Demonstrated and progressive leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including remote and offshore teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (internal and customer).
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, able to translate market and customer insights into actionable product strategies.
- Proven experience in driving product innovation, from ideation to execution, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex business problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing demands.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of healthcare rules and regulations, combined with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving product innovation
