We are seeking an up-and-coming, go-getter and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to join our fast-growing organization. As the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives, overseeing experiments and campaigns, managing an awesome team and owning aggressive growth goals. You ll be the leader of an amazing team, but are expected to get your hands dirty and lead by example. If you have a passion for digital marketing, a track record of driving results within a B2B sales led go-to-market organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of B2B marketing, product marketing, demand generation, brand building, and lead-to-revenue conversion processes. They will have high-level marketing experience in the media industry preferably for a managed services or ad tech company.

Headquarters in Missoula, MT. Remote friendly hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic product marketing initiatives: Collaborate with the executive and sales team to define the overall marketing strategy and goals for the organization. Translate these strategies into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with our objectives and industry trends.
  • Quarterback our Go-To-Market strategies and initiatives: work with leadership to help evolve our messaging, synthesize market feedback from the Sales team, and work with Product translate the technical aspects of our products and offerings and making them digestible for the market and our clients.
  • Lead our Demand Generation Efforts: drive marketing experiments and campaigns: Lead a team of marketers to plan, execute, and optimize marketing experiments and campaigns across various channels, such as SEO, PR, social, email outreach, content marketing and sales collateral.
  • Maximize marketing effectiveness: Analyze marketing performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies to enhance campaign performance, customer engagement, and conversion rates. Partner with Revenue Operations to continuously optimize marketing activities to achieve measurable results throughout the sales funnel.
  • Define and iterate key value propositions of new and updated products and collaborate with sales, product and revenue teams to drive product adoption and advocacy.
  • Nurture a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Manage outside partners to maximize their output, hold them accountable and ensure they re delivering towards hitting your team s goals.
  • Focus is on executing an aggressive cadence of marketing experiments with the goal of generating meetings that ultimately turn into new partnerships for our organization.
  • Test. Measure. Learn. Optimize. Stop. Or scale. Rinse. Repeat.
  • The primary KPIs you will be measured by are meetings, new client wins (MEPs) and Revenue.

Qualifications

  • Bias for action. Proactive should have been your middle name.
  • You have high-level marketing experience in the media industry preferably for a managed services or ad tech company. B2B is key.
  • You re a doer who can manage and make others better.
  • You insist on being measured by results. You think big.
  • You can nerd out about business, marketing, SEO, ads and conversion optimization.
  • When something can be automated, you re doing it.
  • Very strong communications skills. Both verbal and written.
  • You re ready to be part of something big and meaningful.

Skills and Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, some of it in a senior leadership position
  • College degree preferred, not required
