As the VP of Marketing & Communications, you will be at the forefront of driving our family of brand’s growth and visibility. Your role will encompass crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies to drive sales at Gravity Haus properties and culinary outlets, optimize membership sales and retention, and lead a high-performing marketing team.That’s where YOU come in!

What You’ll Do…

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness, enhance the member experience, and drive revenue growth across all business segments.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content across various channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print collateral.
  • Responsible for creating scalable quarterly marketing strategies for each brand that clarify needs from brand owners and simplify execution for the marketing team.
  • Define and maintain personas and audience behaviors, and utilize in brand storytelling and membership communications.
  • Lead the membership sales efforts, working closely with sales teams to devise strategies for attracting, converting, and retaining members, ensuring consistent growth in membership numbers.
  • Own digital marketing strategy for each of the Gravity Haus brands, working with operations owners to drive success.
  • Manage referral and retention campaigns to grow our membership community by leveraging our existing members and engaging them as our greatest evangelists and storytellers.
  • Work with the Product Team to ensure brand continuity across all digital channels (app, web, email)
  • Work effectively with senior executives to develop technology growth plans for the organization.
  • Work effectively across the GH team to develop and execute cross functional campaigns in owned digital channels.
  • Develop marketing strategies that drive new leads to the membership business, as well as organic growth through referrals, and nurturing our existing membership community.
  • This role oversees many areas of the business including but not limited to website management, campaign planning and execution, and email marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and captivating member journey, from onboarding to ongoing engagement, maximizing member satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build and maintain strong media relations, ensuring proactive and positive coverage in key publications, blogs, and relevant media outlets to position the brand as a leader in the outdoor lifestyle industry.
  • Manage and mentor a talented marketing team, fostering their professional growth, and ensuring alignment with brand goals and values.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content across various channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print collateral.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.

Education and Experience…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.
