Vice President (VP) of Digital Services (Remote Opportunity)
VetsEZ is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Digital Services for a 100% remote position to lead our federal accounts.
As the VP of Digital Services, you will play a crucial role in providing executive leadership, strategic planning, and growth support to the company. The VP will lead the digital services portfolio and implement SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices for effective account management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in collaborating with Government teams, fostering a solid partnership at the account level, and a proven track record in delivering successful technical, product, and system integration projects, ensuring they align with strategic and business goals.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and expand our services portfolio.
- Collaborate with the leadership to identify new growth opportunities, develop business plans, and drive revenue generation.
- Act as a senior representative of the organization in coordinating and meeting with all levels of Government leadership, including direct interactions with the highest levels of Government customers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Government officials, stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
- Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to Government customers, understanding their requirements and aligning the organization’s digital services to meet their needs.
- Provide guidance and direction to Portfolio Management Teams and Partnership with Government Teams, including administrative and technical staff, to ensure efficient delivery of digital services projects.
- Implement SAFe practices for effective portfolio management, including Agile methodologies, backlog management, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all contract deliverables related to digital services are met within schedule and quality standards.
- Monitor the financial performance of the digital services portfolio, including revenue, profitability, and cost management.
- Work closely with the finance and business development teams to ensure the contract meets financial targets and growth objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration) is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the healthcare industry, specifically in digital services, informatics management, or related fields, managing large, complex, and diverse teams.
- 12+ years of experience managing large technical programs, establishing program-level strategies, and 5+ years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of SAFe practices and experience implementing Agile methodologies in portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, emerging technologies and low-code/no-code platforms such as Salesforce and
- Proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including Government officials.
- Ability to manage high-demand, high-visibility focused activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive innovation and change.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the VA or other health-related organizations desired.
- Familiarity with Government contracting and procurement processes is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to manage integrated teams of employees and subcontractors.
