Description:

The Senior UX/UI Designer is vital to Citizens as we scale our digital products. As an advocate for our customers, this designer will deliver engaging digital experiences through a user-centered design process for our digital product teams. The ideal candidate should not only possess superior UX/UI skills, but also support their decisions with data, present their design confidently, and collaborate fluidly with multiple product teams.
Primary responsibilities:
- Partner with our rapidly-growing B2B mortgage-lending product team as they scale our correspondent lender ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to conceptualize and iterate through delivery of user-flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
- Advocate for consistency through implementation of our design system standards
- Validate decisions through feedback by conducting user-tests and organizing existing data
- Motivate, inspire, and educate partners across the organization to engage with design thinking and best UX practices
- Participates in identifying and defining strategic initiatives as well as supporting those efforts
- Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be able to work on Eastern Standard Time (typically 8:30-5:00)
- Have at least 5 years of relevant UX / UI experience, proven through a strong portfolio
- Have at least 5 years professional experience in the software/design/digital world
- Strong proficiency with design / prototyping software, including Sketch (Figma experience is a plus)
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong proficiency for interaction design
- Confidence in presenting your designs and selling your solutions to various stakeholders
- A broad understanding of web / mobile UI standards, usability, along with practical experience in design and development
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects at the same level of detail
- Experience delivering ADA / 508 compliant designs for users with disabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with Agile Development strongly preferred

- Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30 – 5:00
