As a UX Specialist within the Health Care Business Group you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Adopt a clear, globally relevant user experience vision – delivering experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical considerations across web and mobile platforms
- Contribute to the creation of information architectures and wireframes to visualize and communicate the user experience concepts
- Support usability testing, gather customer feedback, and leverage web analytics to help define optimization opportunities and create customer-centric outcomes
- Connect UX recommendations to larger global strategy
- Build page templates based on wireframes and strategic input that leverage UX best practices, interpreting and integrating feedback from internal stakeholders
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
OR
- High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) with five (5) years of professional experience in a customer-oriented field
- Official User Experience (UX) Design Certificate
- Two (2) years of combined experience in UX Design, Digital Experience and/or Website Strategy
- One (1) year of experience in information architecture, wireframing, conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis
- One (1) year of experience with UX tools (ie: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc) in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide data driven rationale
- Strong skills in organization and time management
- Ability to connect stakeholder and business objectives to user journeys, and translate them to an on-page experience
- Exposure to Agile Methodologies and tools (ie: Scrum / Kanban)
- Strong portfolio showcasing web/UX skills
- Passion for technology, optimization, and process-improvement
- Experience working with globally distributed and cross-functional teams
- Results oriented – proven successful to use qualitative and quantitative metrics to make recommendations and manage systems that contribute to marketing goals
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
Work location:
- Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
- Maplewood Corporate Center, but open to US and CA remote locations
Travel: May include up to 10% global
