What your days might look like
We are seeking a passionate and experienced UX Researcher to join our growing Product Design team and play a pivotal role in understanding our users, identifying their needs, preferences, and pain points, and translating these insights into actionable improvements across our product portfolio.
As a UX Researcher you’ll:
- Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user behaviours, motivations, and pain points, utilising methods such as interviews, surveys, and other sources of data.
- Plan, conduct, and analyse moderated and unmoderated usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing features and prototypes.
- Carry out competitor analyses to provide insights that contribute to maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
- Develop and present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing product roadmaps and design decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to ensure a user-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of user research ops documentation, insights repositories, and participant panels within the organisation.
- Develop, deliver and report on research coaching programs, and mentor product and design team members to conduct their own impactful research.
What you will bring
- 3+ years experience in applied product/UX research, preferably researching complex SaaS or HR tech products.
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to adjust research plans and approach as needed to meet project timelines and business objectives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience with using various research tools and software (e.g. Dovetail, Userlytics, Maze, Askable, Glowfeed) is a plus.
- Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
- Experience with Design Thinking and/or Product Design is a plus.
