As a UX Researcher you will help to drive design within RVO Health. You will be responsible for leading qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives that inform critical decisions for current and future products and work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to identify research topics that inform business decisions and use best practices in user research to support the entire product design cycle. Furthermore, you will design and execute exploratory field studies with users, stakeholders and subject-matter experts and plan, recruit for, and conduct usability analyses utilizing digital platforms such as User Zoom, Feedback loop and D-scout and the in-house usability lab or in the field. You will also collaborate closely with designers, technologists, and product managers and deliver persuasive and compelling UX research and strategy insight and related deliverables to executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with product owners and design leads to understand the user segments and related product/service offerings
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand project goals and identify areas where UX research can provide greater insight and success
  • Design and execute research studies that follow UX research best practices and methodologies
  • Ensure all research study results are actionable and contribute directly towards meeting project and business goals
  • Present and communicate research results and opportunities to the stakeholder team
  • Develop new UX research processes and deliverables
  • Drive UX research related project intake discussions with stakeholders, develops research plans and timelines
  • Partner with product & service design team lead to identify future research needs and develop a research roadmap with project briefs estimating scope and level of effort
  • Support research team lead in project prioritization and progress reporting
  • Support other team UX researchers as needed to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables and best practice compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of planning and executing user experience research studies using mixed methods (moderated and unmoderated usability testing, surveys, click tests, card sorts, tree tests, etc.)
  • UX Research Certificate (preferred not required)
  • Experience using tools like UserZoom and Dscout (or equivalent)
  • Experience working to understand research needs from product and design teams, selecting appropriate methods and creating a project plan from scope, timing, dependencies
  • Experience connecting research results to actionable feedback, collaborating with design and product teams to implement feedback to improve end user experience
  • Experience presenting and communicating research results and opportunities to the stakeholder team
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Miro, Figma

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $67,000-$100,000
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
