Job Description
Our client, a global marketplace, is looking for a UX Researcher / Designer to work collaboratively with internal business and engineering teams to enhance an internal product experience and assist with a complete redesign of an internal tool. This position will be remote.
- Rate: $40-45hr
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute primary research to understand our users needs and pain points
- Research spans from baselining current experience with metrics and heuristics evaluation, generative research to design, launch and measurement of product performance.
- Design, plan and conduct user research, employing methods such as: remote usability, field studies, competitive evaluations, usability studies, surveys, diary studies, and other relevant approaches.
- Provide recommendations to the team based on understanding user needs and behaviors.
- Lead stakeholders in translation of research findings into actionable results, activating design thinking and concept making through facilitation and workshop facilitation
- Synthesize research findings from other data sources (including market research, site analytics and secondary research) into meaningful recommendations and actionable results.
- Build strong relationships with Designers, Business Partners, Marketing, Analytics and Engineers to deliver impact on our global products.
- Support design with ability to do your own prototyping for usability tests & ability to make incremental design updates after reviewing usability findings with the core team
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in product design environment
- Degree Bachelor in Human Factors Design, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Journalism, or related field.
- Must provide a portfolio with design process represented.
