A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will
- Research, conceive, wireframe, sketch, mock-up, and prototype user interactions and interfaces for digital products from low to high-fidelity.
- Analyze business workflow diagrams and requirements, participate in product decision-making, and define innovative solutions to achieve product goals.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams and business stakeholders to translate fuzzy concepts into intuitive enterprise user experience.
Responsibilities
- Research, conceive, wireframe, sketch, mock-up, and prototype user interactions and interfaces for digital products from low to high-fidelity.
- Analyze business workflow diagrams and requirements, participate in product decision-making, and define innovative solutions to achieve product goals.
- Translate fuzzy concepts into intuitive product design and user experiences.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Work with and contribute to a growing Design System.
- Champion new ideas and methods of accomplishing product goals.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Graphics, Psychology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Three or more years of UX-design related digital product experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex enterprise solutions.
- Ability to work with product team and internal stakeholders to understand workflow processes and expectations and then design complete user experiences and interfaces that meet product vision and user needs.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or the like, is a must, along with fundamental Adobe CC skills. Familiarity with Miro and Zeplin is helpful. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
- Prior experience with creating process diagrams, information architectures, and user journey maps. Ability to navigate complex workflows and scopes.
- Ability to ask the right questions, challenge the status quo, and get to the core of a subject.
- Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a solid understanding of fully responsive design andWCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
- Understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, and usability and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently, including prototyping in a design tool.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders visually, verbally, and in written communication.
- Be passionate about all things Product/UX design and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industrys latest trends and technologies.
