Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer with a strong background in creating exceptional user experiences for both desktop and mobile web platforms. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping UX strategies for our Communication and Local Services Ads teams, focusing on enhancing the click-to-message and provider-side experiences while advocating for user needs within the Google Ads ecosystem. The role demands hands-on experience in transforming research insights into actionable product improvements and requires effective communication skills to articulate design vision and negotiate design decisions with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage in-depth user research to advocate for the end-user, driving product evolution.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Engineers, to design and deliver impactful user experiences.
- Utilize Figma for creating detailed user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Communicate design concepts clearly and justify design decisions with strong rational backed by user insights and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with UX Research and apply live experimentation to refine concepts, ensuring alignment with the Google Ads ecosystem’s overarching vision and standards.
Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in UX Design and Figma.
- Proven track record of successful UX projects and ability to articulate design processes.
- Strong experience in collaborative environments and cross-functional teams.
