The UI/UX Designer is responsible for improving the user experience for our marketing websites by evolving our existing interfaces, designing landing pages and components, auditing our websites, and designing creative solutions based on user need. This role will work closely with the product manager, brand creative team, development team, marketing stakeholders, and other groups. This position reports to the UX Manager of Provider Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create web experiences that support a consistent user experience, represents the brand and style guide, and achieves business objectives
- Be an expert on your audience – Advocate for the user needs, goals, and expectations while building your understanding of the healthcare staffing market
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in marketing, product, engineering and analytics to deliver a cohesive experience
- Apply the core principles and best practices of visual communication, including layout and composition, color theory, typography, imagery and illustration and information design
- Iterate on designs in an Agile software development environment
Qualifications:
- Ability to create and present intuitive website designs that strengthen a brands identity
- Ability to communicate rational behind design decisions
- Experience in creating web components derived from brand style guidelines
- Must have a collaborative mindset and proven experience partnering with other creatives
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- An exceptional online portfolio showcasing visual design and design thinking for responsive websites
Education and Years of Experience:
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Degree in Design, Marketing, or related field
Preferred:
- Experience creating marketing websites
- Experience working with a creative team
- Interest in data-driven design
- Interest in staying on top of industry trends and competitor activity
