User Experience Researcher

Greenhouse is looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our team!
As a User Experience Researcher you will help elevate our current research practices and lead user research projects, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers. Working closely with the Manager of User Experience Research you will alleviate bottlenecks within the design research process and scale our product suite through generative research and usability testing.

What you’ll do
- Develop a deep understanding of the Greenhouse product and user base and identify and drive opportunities for impactful research for the product roadmap
- Support design and product teams working on quantitative and qualitative research and usability testing projects
- Work closely with the Manager of User Experience Research to define research processes and best practices
- Facilitate generative and evaluative research studies, uncovering key strategic problems for the team to focus on
You should have
- Experience conducting user research in a fast-paced product development environment
- Demonstrated understanding of a variety of qualitative user research methodologies (ex: usability testing)
- Experience facilitating or leading user interviews, usability testing, unmoderated research studies, etc.
- Ability to create compelling stories using and interpreting data to share insights
- A desire to collaborate with product teams to help them better understand and advocate for their users
- Accessibility certification or 1-2 years experience with accessibility, a plus

The national pay range for this role is $84,000 – $133,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local cost of labor.
