About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Part-time UX Designer for a pioneer in the next generation of virtual character platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and iterate on user interfaces, focusing on creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Develop responsive designs that provide an optimal user experience across various devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, users, and other designers, to understand requirements and deliver design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various features of the platform.
- Apply best practices in UX design, considering the latest trends and techniques in the gaming industry.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay informed about advancements in UX design and gaming industry trends to remain at the forefront of user experience design.
- Contribute to the development of design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and mobile designs.
- Prior experience in the gaming industry, with an understanding of gaming audiences and user expectations.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, user-centered design processes, and interaction design guidelines.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
