Job Description:
Our client is seeking a UI Architect to collaborate with stakeholders, other architects, creative staff and developers to conceptualize and create Angular SPA applications to meet business needs. Some days will be spent heads-down coding on deliverables; other days they may find themselves teaching others how to accomplish a given goal.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $72 – $95/ hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, creative staff, and developers to conceptualize and create Angular Single Page Applications (SPAs) to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code for deliverables.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for UI development, excluding graphic or user experience design.
- Mentor and guide team members in achieving project goals.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Experience Requirements:
Must-haves:
- 10+ years of experience building user interfaces with modern web development stacks
- At least 3-5 years building SPAs with Angular
- In-depth knowledge of: NgRX, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3 / Sass, Git, JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong Object Oriented and Component-Based design knowledge
- Understands RESTful service consumption
- Experience handling projects from concept to completion
Nice-to-haves:
- Full-stack development experience with Node.js
- Experience creating Angular libraries for consumption by other teams
- Experience leading / managing other developers
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
