The Role

As a member of the Trust & Safety team, youll be focused on creating a safe and positive experience for all Clubhouse users. Youll help shape our policies, evaluate user behavior and content, and contribute to building systems, processes, and product features to scale your teams impact. Youll tackle time-sensitive issues and situations with imperfect information; youll be trusted to understand complex situations, consider the root causes and consequences, to make judgment calls, and communicate with the team and users directly. Youll have autonomy, responsibility, and abundant opportunities for personal growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will report to our Head of Trust & Safety and work closely with many cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Core Ops.

We are a remote friendly-company with our headquarters in San Francisco and a strong commitment to ensuring people can do great work here and thrive without having to live near an office. This role is open to candidates across the U.S.

What You Will Do

  • Youll scale trust & safety operations.On any given day, you might be handling complex investigations into multiple policy areas, managing vendors, diagnosing metrics and finding ways to improve them, and utilizing new technology to improve detection efforts. Youll also be helping to set the strategic priorities of the trust & safety ecosystem, including new policy development.
  • Youll ensure the safety of new features.Youll be working alongside our product and engineering teams to review new features and collaborate on strategies for user safety and compliance.
