Technical Support Engineer

You will: Help our customers integrate the most innovative mobile game monetization product into their games.
Must have: 2+ years of experience in Unity and native Android development, with proven success troubleshooting and fixing issues.
Right now, we are hiring a Technical Support Engineer to help us support the customers using our monetization SDK and help our teams further develop the MAS product.
Responsibilities:
- Take support queries from our clients, log them in our ticket base, and provide functional support.
- Analyze the technical issues, identify root causes, and provide efficient solutions.
- Communicate with our internal support to help alleviate client queries and escalate portal and SDK issues.
- Review our SDK for potential issues and give feedback to the Developer Support Team Lead on how to improve the product;
- Participate in QA, test the new MAS releases, and report bugs.
- Help maintain the existing plugins.
Required
- 2+ years of experience in Unity and native Android development, with a proven history of working on projects using Unity/C# and Android Studio/Kotlin+Java;
- Ability to understand the error log and fix issues relating to areas such as build and SDK conflicts.
- Experience working with SDKs, particularly ad monetization SDKs.
- Flexibility in learning new technologies such as Flutter, native iOS, and Cocos, and the ability to adapt to new missions.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills and ability to continuously gather feedback to improve the product.
- Creative and curious nature. Possessing an intrinsic will to succeed while unafraid to try and fail (i.e. learn) by experimenting with new approaches and testing ideas.
- Self-motivation, problem-solving and learning mindset.
- Scalable thinking: Yodo1 is growing fast; those who think scalably, advance quickly.
Preferred
- Deep understanding of the Unity ecosystem, with experience managing or developing Unity plugins.
- Ability to fix the ANRs and crashes to get under the bad behavior threshold.
- Experience working remotely with international teams, as our customer-facing teams are spread across six continents.
