As a Technical Project Manager, you will partner with TechOps, DevOps, Security, Engineering, and business stakeholders to successfully deliver Infrastructure/Security projects. You will apply project management best practices and take a structured approach. You will help to define the role of a Technical Project Manager and help shape the vision of Program Management. You will own the delivery of your projects and ensure regular communication with all stakeholders.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with TechOps, DevOps, Security, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close multiple Infrastructure related projects.
  • Own delivery of multiple infrastructure/security projects. Examples include rollouts of identity management tools, endpoint management tools, penetration testing, security awareness training, etc.
  • Take a structured approach to project management.
  • Set project goals and come up with plans to meet those goals.
  • Help teams develop and maintain project schedules, estimates, and status updates.
  • Manage resources and dependencies for projects.
  • Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
  • Manage issues and risks for projects.
  • Provide weekly project status reports.

We’re ideally seeking:

  • PMP or PMI-ACP Certification.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • SAFe certifications a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure projects or software development projects in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of project management processes, such as Scrum and Agile.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members/management and explain technical issues.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during the project.
