Technical Program Manager on Customer Domain team working at Ford Motor Credit Company. The ideal candidate will apply Agile management practices to orchestrate team of software engineers and architects to deliver business value as defined by Product Manager and strategic corporate initiatives
Responsibilities
What you’ll do…
- Owning and managing Rally / Jira project boards, backlogs and release planning.
- Facilitating Agile team ceremonies, documenting team plans, goals, decisions and outcomes.
- Creating modern cloud-native systems optimized for state management and domain-tailored queries (ideally using Event Sourcing, CQRS, and bespoke projection models).
- Facilitating code and design reviews with actionable outcomes for teammates and coordinating teams.
- Building highly Secure and Reliable systems, working with SRE and compliance departments.
- Building highly available and actionable APIs using modern protocols and query techniques.
- Building transparent work programs in both terms of requirements and outcomes.
Qualifications
You’ll have…
- 3+ years of hands on building complex software systems
- 5+ years of management and structuring complex work
- 4 +years of coordination with product and business teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field
- Experience designing, organizing, and building critical systems; working with clients, stakeholders, and teammates to achieve superior results.
- Demonstrable experience in implementing Domain Driven Design, Distributed Systems, and Event Driven Architectures via Behavior Driven Development and Design Thinking techniques.
- Trained in Agile software development methodologies
- Technology / Skills: Rally / Jira proficiency, MS Office proficiency. Familiarity with tools used by software engineers including: Java, Angular, React, HTML, GCP, PostGreSQL, Big Query, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, GitHub, OpenShift, Tekton
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
