At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

This Technical Product Manager will play a key role in ensuring the success of our platform products, developing product roadmaps by streamlining processes, enabling data-driven decision making and aligning cross functional teams! This role will work closely with engineering, security, infrastructure, customer care teams and as well with the other product teams to drive solutions and improve the efficiencies across BUs as well as drive overall performance.
What you’ll get to do…
- Drive program execution and delivery of large critical initiatives including schedule, scope, resource management, financials, benefit tracking, knowledge of new technologies and issue/risk management to ensure successful completion of all projects and programs in support of the business strategies
- Define vision, strategy and roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders with clear goals and objectives
- Collect business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, act as a technical liaison between product, engineering and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, scalability and technical alignment
- Communicate status, schedules, dependencies, and risks to all key stakeholders; prioritize features, backlog items and technical debt in alignment with the organizational goals
- Manage the complete life cycle from requirements to deployment and beyond
- Ability to have a good knack of product backlog management and strive to prioritize items in the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility
- Track the performance metrics, the business value created and the team KPIs; capture and incorporate customer feedback into development cycle
- Provide governance to the Org Level processes, tools and their optimizations along with change management required
- Be accountable for ensuring overall product and program delivery, schedule and resource attainment, and effective management of leadership expectations in achieving overall desired outcomes, results, and deliverables
Your experience should include…
- 8+ years of technical program management experience (working directly with product, design and engineering teams)
- Software product development: Deep experience with teams that have built and launched customer-facing web and mobile products. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and good understanding of experimentation
- Deep understanding of software development and project planning, including estimating and scheduling. Experience building, deploying, and operationalizing global, multi-year technology projects on schedule
- Agile/ Lean process proficiency: Participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies while assisting the team in optimizing Agile/ Lean processes
- Skilled in comprehending and discussing systems architecture and technical solutions with engineers. Capable of estimating the impact of each on the project schedule and providing recommendations that align with business goals. Proficient in APIs, Integrations, cloud technologies, and security
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Workfront) as well as PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
- Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, senior leadership and external partners
- Experience navigating competing priorities, presenting options and then proactively driving solutions; lead and influence others without direct authority
