About this role:
The ideal candidate for the position of Technical Product Manager in our organization will possess extensive experience in the delivery and management of technology infrastructure products and services. With 5-7 years of experience in program management and technology projects, the successful candidate will be an expert in managing large-scale, complex programs and developing processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Drive all aspects of program management, including planning, data gathering, analysis, risk management, communication, status tracking and reporting, implementation, monitoring, execution, and delivery of the initiative/program
- Influence and collaborate across organizations, including engineering, product, security, legal, compliance, finance, and more to build commitment, negotiate competing requirements, ensure alignment, and improve processes
- Communicate program plans and risks to stakeholders, and work with partner program and product teams to resolve cross-functional challenges
- Partner with leadership to identify and solve cross-functional challenges, and allocate resources to meet program goals
- Manage and deliver technology infrastructure products as services to internal and external customers, and continuously improve product offerings and processes to meet customer needs
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in program management of complex, cross-functional technology projects
- Expertise in delivering aggressive project deliverables while effectively managing stakeholder expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical project initiatives
- Proven track record of managing cost, schedule, and performance for portfolios, programs, or individual projects
- Ability to manage remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical and service problem management to resolve implementation issues and remove barriers to project success
- Fully competent in project management tools and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience working in regulated industries such as medical, or building products and services for these industries
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Smartsheets
- Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including cloud, datacenter, networking, and more
- Experience in software development and improving operational efficiencies Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizations, mitigating risks, and managing competing priorities
- Proven independent, critical thinking to navigate ambiguity and find detailed solutions
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced tech company and collaborate effectively with teams on different operating cadences.
