cxiom is looking for a Technical Product Owner/Manager to join our Product & Engineering Team. She or he will work closely with product, engineering and strategy leads as we build data and identity products.

To succeed, this candidate will need strong technical product management and communication skills – both verbal and written. This includes developing and tracking roadmap, creating user stories and product guide, refining backlog and collaborating with other product managers to align with overall product portfolio strategy. Along with this, they will need a fundamental understanding of Agile concepts and OKRs, specifically planning, processing and feedback.

This role can be home-based almost anywhere in the U.S.

What you will do:

  • Works with product leadership to learn about what problems they are striving to solve with the product, what customer needs or desires have advised the product strategy, and what your product’s success look like.
  • Responsible for Backlog Management, produces product demo and participates in release management including writing release notes for both internal and external users.
  • As a member of the extended Product Management team, the Technical Product Owner is heavily involved in program backlog refinement and preparation for Sprint planning and plays a meaningful role in the sprint ceremonies/events.
  • Performs UAT and ensures bugs are appropriately classified and prioritized for release.
  • Works closely with delivery to develop hand off documents post release and coordinate product training for internal support teams.
  • Develops external product guide and artifacts to help with client onboarding.

What you will need:

  • 2+ years of strong technical product management experience and be familiar with Agile Scrum methods and processes.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills. The ability to perform ad-hoc data analysis by writing SQL and running queries against databases. Can support researching production issues.
  • A deep empathy for users and passion to deliver high quality solutions that they love.
  • Ability to multi-task optimally in a fast-paced environment; and prioritize and meet deadlines as new tasks arise.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written to collaborate with technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Experience with Trello, Visio, JIRA, Confluence and MS Office.

What will set you apart?

  • Experience with AdTech data (exposure, website, search, by channel, etc.) and with MarTech data (consumer, response, application metadata). Additional data knowledge by industry verticals and understanding of the varied deployment channels is helpful.
  • Experience with AWS stack and data visualization.
