UMR, UnitedHealthcare’s third-party administrator (TPA) solution, is seeking an experienced SMS/email professional who is business savvy, highly technical and loves to stay busy, own projects, and interact/collaborate with multiple co-workers.
This position will act as a liaison between our UMR business and IT teams, working to translate business requirements into actionable Agile deliverables. The candidate will need to be proficient in both SMS Manager and Salesforce Marketing Cloud email platforms with an emphasis on platform/data integrations while providing guidance on building a larger communications ecosystem. You’ll be expected to ensure our platforms are set up in a scalable manner that allows for UMR business growth along with supporting our uniquely branded partnerships. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional team members, establish trust and credibility in a matrix organization, as well as demonstrate effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with our UMR team of SMS/email specialists and business owners to identify campaign objective and core technical requirements
- Serve as liaison between our technical and business teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other UMR IT system leads to map and pull data from the appropriate platforms to flawlessly execute key campaign objectives
- Guide our Agile IT teams to develop campaigns in an accurate, efficient manner consistent with marketing strategy, campaign objectives and best practices in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Utilize excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects under quick deadlines and be able to respond quickly and accurately to change
- Anticipate the UMR customers’ unique needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with developing SMS/email campaigns on the Salesforce Marketing Platform
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce Marketing cloud with other systems using APIs and data feeds via FTP
- Proficient in developing and editing SQL queries for relational data sequences, data pulls, and automations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within an Agile framework
- Experience in health care/health insurance or pharmacy industry
- Experience working in matrix organization
- Proven comfortable communicating with marketing and business leaders
