Responsibilities

GovCIO is currently looking for a Technical Communication Specialist to join our growing team. We are working with our customer to provide support in getting the message out about the positive things going on within OCTO PeopleOps! Our goal is to find someone with PowerPoint experience who has no trouble working with multiple groups to input updates into decks while meeting deadlines and keeping the customer aware. If you are someone who can look at something and offer solutions/recommendations while providing reasoning, this could be a role for you! GovCIO aims to transform government IT by delivering the technology-related innovation necessary to improve governmental operations every day.

  • Experience in PowerPoint, collecting comments from multiple sources and integrating it into a cohesive response.
  • Action item tracking organization of data calls and responses
  • Demonstrated skill with oral and written communication.
  • Generate, control, distribute, and maintain various documents, data, processes and artifacts in accordance with VA directives.
  • Track all information reported to internal and external organizations.
  • Act as the point of contact who is able to provide data and records management support for all executive reports and responses.
  • Complete forms and registrations as directed by the office senior executives.
  • Draft executive summaries, white papers and memorandums as directed by the office senior executives.
  • Support special assignments as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • PowerPoint experience to compile and edit decks
  • Need to be able to lead and drive tasks on meeting
  • Proactive
  • Ability to drive conversations and offer solutions to improving the environment
  • Understanding next steps with minimal feedback/supervision
  • Detail-oriented
  • Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Ability to create/edit graphs/charts a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and gap analysis a plus

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)

$80,000 – $85,000
