Title: Supply Chain Manager, Fulfillment Specialist

Reporting To: Senior Manager, Operations

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations, this role will have a unique window into all elements of operating, executing, and developing strategic components across a variety of global supply chains within Foundry’s diverse portfolio of brands. This role’s primary objective is to expand Foundry’s fulfillment capabilities through technology and improve economies of scale in fulfillment with each new acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfillment Tech Stack: Using our Warehouse & Order Management system you will serve as the control tower of our digital fulfillment system, overseeing the connections between our WMS and sales channels to ensure an uninterrupted flow of orders. You will also be responsible for designing automation rules to simplify and optimize order fulfillment at the warehouse level. This role will work closely with Foundry’s broader tech and finance teams to ensure product and order data is congruent throughout Foundry’s technical systems.
  • Shipping, Fulfillment, and Vendor Management: Getting our products into the hands of our customers is a critical step in our supply chain. You will be responsible for developing our small parcel shipping strategy, managing carrier performance, and maintaining an active relationship with our small parcel carriers. You will oversee our freight operations, executing inventory transfers between warehouses within our network, as well as inbound inventory shipments to Amazon both domestically and abroad. You will also support daily order management and trafficking across our brand portfolio. Familiarity with the 3PL ecosystem is a plus as this role will likely involve some level of 3PL vendor management and analysis.
  • Analytics: Foundry is devoted to making data/metric-based decisions throughout its supply chain. You will develop tools and dashboards to share supply chain data with our entire organization and you will support our portfolio of brands with detailed supply chain-focused analysis for high-leverage brand opportunities.
  • Additional general Supply Chain Management & special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, supply chain engineering or similar degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in e-commerce, operations, fulfillment, or supply chain analytics
  • A passion for ecommerce and DTC, a follower of the industry with a perspective and experience on systems, tools and best practices
  • Strong program management experience
  • Strong collaborator and leader with the drive for operational improvement and operational excellence
  • Analytical ability to draw insights from unstructured data and provide fact-based recommendations.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms
  • Understanding of warehousing, fulfillment, and warehouse management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical skills quickly

You will really stand out if you:

  • Have negotiated rate contracts with small parcel carriers, freight brokers, or 3PLs.
  • Are familiar/expert with the warehouse management system & order management system like Shiphero, Brightpearl, etc
  • Are proficient in data tools like SQL or PowerBI
  • Have experience with growth operations including but not limited to: channel managmeent, international expansion, retail operations (SMB, dropshipping, EDI-level retail fulfillment)
  • Are proficient in supply chain modeling and fulfillment network analysis
  • Obsessed with automation, repeatable process, and process building
