CommScope is looking for Staff Software QA Automation Engineer. This role will allow you to work remotely from anywhere in the US. Our ideal incumbent will be based in US, East coast.
How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
As a member of our Quality and Software Test team for Comsearch business group, this position provides daily test activities within test team focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining both manual and automated software tests. You will work on creating detailed test plans for functional, integration, and regression tests. Design, develop and maintain test scripts. Evaluate, recommend and implement automated test tools, techniques, and strategies for possible efficiency in current and future projects. Connect with multi-functional teams to ensure that products work as intended. Collaborate with the product and development team to test and address any issues or concerns Investigate test failures and determine root-causes. Write clear and concise bug reports, verify bug fixes
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Minimum 5 years of validated experience
- Proficiency in automation testing/script creation using JavaScript, Cucumber and Gherkin
- Proven experience in test planning, documenting detailed test cases and procedures
- Fixing any errors and streamlining the testing procedures
- Skilled at writing SQL queries
- Expertise in Agile development methods including Scrum and Kanban
- Working with tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for ticket management and test procedures documentation
You will excite us if you have:
- Experience with Playwright tool for automation testing
- Drive to lead test automation script development.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly understand business needs and communicate that information
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Anticipated annual base salary range dependent on candidate’s work location, experience and qualifications: $93,000 – $120,000
Perks & Benefits: The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan and participation in the Company’s Annual Incentive Plan.
