As a Staff Product Designer, Design Systems at StackAdapt, you’ll lead the continued evolution of our design system, helping to deliver world class experiences and enhance scalability and consistency. You’ll collaborate with leadership and individuals across design, engineering, product management, and other teams within StackAdapt to deliver valuable work.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in North America for this position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, researchers, fellow designers) to drive design vision and strategy for our design system
- Be an integral part of the team to build a world-class design system and help steer the growth, evolution, and execution of our platform’s interface and user experience
- Apply strategic thinking to visualize ideas and concepts and communicate them effectively and compellingly for internal stakeholders, partners and customers
- Use facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, partners and customers
- Collaborate with other leaders in the Product Design & UX Research team, to facilitate cross team work, user journey thinking, improve team operations, and more
What you’ll bring to the table:
- A depth of experience in the design systems domain, especially within very complex technology spaces
- Expert level proficiency with Figma and related tooling; in building and documenting design systems
- Deep knowledge and experience of core UX competencies, including; Interaction Design, Usability Testing & Evaluations, Prototyping and Information architecture
- Strong visual design principles and track record of creating attractive and intuitive interfaces
- Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to communicate UX and Design-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to understand the business context and Product challenges and manage uncertainty and apply appropriate solutions in response to differing business needs
- Highly flexible and adaptable to fast paced and changing environments
