POSITION: SQL DEVELOPER

Reporting to the VP of Patient Intake Solutions, you will be writing SQL-based applications to transfer data collected from patients into Electronic Medical Record systems. The Senior SQL developer uses their knowledge to develop custom solutions to transfer data safely through patient electronic forms.

OBJECTIVES:
- Design and implement custom electronic forms for HealthMark Patient Intake clients
- Bring SQL development expertise to the most difficult problems on the team
- Mentor less-experienced developers and help them overcome obstacles
- Develop electronic forms based on requirements collected from customers and find creative solutions when necessary
- Act as peer reviewer for other form developers to make sure SQL development standards are followed
- Produce high-quality SQL code with greater than 90% pass rate in QA for the projects worked
- Troubleshoot and fix live client form issues quickly and efficiently
- Collaborate with internal technical specialists, account managers and clients to ensure solutions are optimally designed
- Track and communicate form project status, issues, and time frames to internal teams
- This role requires access to protected health information; maintaining the security and confidentiality of all protected health information is paramount

REQUISITE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Healthcare IT or patient intake/engagement development experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years extensive SQL Development experience a must
- Must be process driven, possess strong communication skills and careful attention to detail, have a remarkable ability to follow through in an organized and effective way.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and comfortable working in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree a plus.
