What will you be Doing:
Specialist, Business Analytics and Technology is part of the Business Analytics and Technology team, working closely with leadership and stakeholders across the field, technology, and members to deliver actionable insights from data analysis. The role of the Specialist is to collaborate and partner with his/her direct team as well as internal/external customers to identify, create, and deploy innovative analytics solutions with support commercial business objectives.
The Specialist participates in the entire analytics development process, from identifying the need and defining requirements, data collection/review/management, model creation, and final user interface development. The Specialist will have opportunities to explore GPO contract strategy, requirements elicitation, report creation/maintenance, and data governance.
The Specialist will work in a team environment and be responsible for developing relationships across Premier.

Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience – 3 or more years
Skills & Experience:
Big Data, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Structured Query Language (SQL)
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Experience to include:
- 2+ years of experience with relational database programming knowledge such as SQL.
- Must have 3+ years of applicable experience
- Advanced Excel experience.
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Powerbase
