Lucas Group is looking for a hard-working Solutions Architect to join our client’s growing team of software experts. In this role you will work with a team of software engineers, core infrastructure engineers, and product managers to build and maintain customer-facing experiences and backend solutions to enable high-quality application solutions that leverage AWS services. You’ll get to play with some of the best tool’s AWS has to offer to help with integration, data engineering, and software development. This is a contract-to-hire OR direct hire role for the right candidate.
This position can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.!
What You Will Do:
- 40% of your time will be focused on full stack design and architecture
- Looking for someone who can mentor and bring best practices into the team
- The client has some legacy code in the following: Python, PowerShell, and C# (but you do not need to be an expert in all of them)
- Manipulating data
- Interact w/AWS but does not have to be an AWS expert
- Will interface with internal stakeholders on a regular basis therefore you must be professional, clear, and concise
Skills Needed
- 4 yrs. experience in software engineer role with full stack design and architecture
- Strong coder: Identify gaps, evolve applications, and close gaps
- AWS experience
- Needs to be familiar with SQS, SNS API gateway
- Minimum 1 yr. experience with Web Tech/Web Dev
Highly preferred experience (not required)
- Experience with content management systems
- Apache or Tomcat web experience
Educational & Work Requirements:
- 4+ years of software engineer & solutions architect experience
