Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our client’s team. The Social Media Specialist candidate should have experience adapting content and translating tone of voice for different social properties at high-volume with the utmost understanding of representing a brand’s aesthetic and guidelines. Should be comfortable acting as a gatekeeper and enforcer, ensuring social channels stay on brand, and on track with messaging for specific personas, such as graphic designers, fashion designers, and UX/UI designers. Must have experience curating and sourcing content from key influencers, as well as writing sticky social copy to drive engagement across social channels. Must also be a strong understanding of platform trends and best practices, including hashtags, character counts, owned/earned/paid strategies, etc. Additionally, understanding measurement and brand efficacy to drive
Looking for an adept content creator and curator: someone who can spot great user-generated content from key target personas, specifically graphic designers, illustrators, fashion designers, and emerging creators. One should be comfortable and adept at developing and ideating one’s own content, whether through stock content, sourcing UGC, or developing relationships with key influencers and personas to share across the company’s social media channels.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily content calendar, scheduling of posts, and ensuring proper cadence across all social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, Pinterest, and emerging platforms) to meet social media targets
- Work alongside key stakeholders (marketing, product, trends) to develop content themes and own visual briefs/requests for new assets with creative agency partners
- Serve as the voice of programs, engaging with end-users, customers, influencers, and creators via social channels (commenting, liking, RTing, etc.)
- Proactively seek out conversations in which the company should participate, particularly with key personas and influencers; up the conversation game on all existing channels and own the vision for where to go next
- Identify emerging influencers and potential brand partnerships in growing communities and develop authentic relationships with them that can take the programs to the next level
- Pull raw analytics from social platforms and work alongside the marketing team to create regular reports for critical social media KPIs
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years experience working in social media, community engagement, curation, and content creation
- Experience pulling data natively from social media platforms and conducting analysis and report out on insights/findings
- Left and right brained person; a creator who is also analytical
- Requires a portfolio of well-managed brand channels that tells the story of one’s achievements (content production and community management)
- Must be focused, able to move at a fast pace, through a high volume of content needs and evolving conversations both with and about the design community
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills
- Comfortable with all social channels, with a focus on Instagram (Stories, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, in particular), Facebook, and Twitter
- A willingness to engage via one’s authentic self/personal social profile
- Comfortable with real-time content creation (i.e. covering events, breaking news) and live streaming
- Experience with design workflow tools products, specifically with personas such as graphic design, UX/UI design, fashion/textile design, and/or other digital creative pursuits desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Corporate Communications desired
- Experience working with professional agency partners a plus
