Social Media Manager B2B Tech (Remote)
We are seeking a Social Media Manager for a global B2B high-tech company. The ideal candidate will be ensuring the team is on track for their respective projects by developing and owning a master social timeline and proactively communicating gaps or issues. They will support the director of social media and will partner with them on overall budget management and support in evaluating partner agencies and vendors.
This is a 6-month project (Extension OR Conversion to FTE is Possible), 40 hours per role. Remote in the US. This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, with health benefits, and 401K offered.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees, develops, and implements overall team processes including a master timeline for all content and activations, and identifies gaps in and optimizations for existing processes
- Streamlines, recommends, and implements new work processes as needed and communicates changes to key stakeholders
- Manages and prioritizes business partner content requests from key stakeholders in the organization and directs them to relevant team members as needed
- Gatekeeps, enforces, and merchandises social strategy and KPIs to ensure adherence to guidelines and processes across the org
- Owns global reporting, with day-to-day data management support from listening + insights co-op
- Manages a master status document with inputs from all team members
- Evaluates successes/challenges within existing tools + platforms (eg. Sprinklr, Teams, Sharepoint) and provides recommendations for optimizations
- Leads internal stakeholder meetings (statuses, content syncs) and guides team with documented relevant next steps and timing needs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally with an emphasis on social media projects, with a proven track record of success; or advanced degree with Marketing emphasis and equivalent experience.
- Experience in B2B social media management is appreciated; agility in hypergrowth environments necessary.
- Ability to think quickly and pivot when necessary, to counsel partners and execute plans with a preference for a collaborative work style.
- Resourceful, energetic, solutions-oriented, excellent communication skills, collaborative, always trying to find ways to improve with an empathetic approach to teamwork and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
