We are looking for a creative and social media savvy professional to be our first Social Media Manager & Content Creator. You will be responsible for creating short video content, scaling social media channels, and fostering a community of Tango fans within social channels. You will be the voice of the brand and have the opportunity to elevate our existing channels, experiment with new initiatives, and grow our online community.

Reporting to Partnerships, you’ll work closely with Brand, Content, and Community teams.

This is a remote position based in the US.

What you’ll do

  • Create, repurpose, and promote short video content across multiple channels that creates buzz and drives users to our product
  • Plan, develop, and execute organic social media strategy across existing and new channels, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram
  • Track, analyze, and report on organic social media efforts
  • Scale social media channels through organic posts, community campaigns, and branded giveaways
  • Develop monthly content calendars and schedule posts across social media platforms
  • Work with marketing and community teams to develop medium-term content creation strategy
  • Work with content creators to integrate Tango use cases, current trends, and new ideas into short-form video content
  • Engage with Tango’s followers to drive community

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in building and scaling community in social media, with a preference for product-led growth organizations.
  • Experience working with TikTok and Instagram in a brand-driven environment
  • Experience in short video content creation – bringing a brand’s story to life
  • Strong written and communication skills, with an understanding of of brand voice
  • Creativity and Curiosity – we’re building new aspects of the Tango experience every week. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to find new and innovative ways tackle social channels
  • Experience working in Influencer Marketing and SEO is a plus
