Social Media Manager

FULL-TIME
Couchbase (NASDAQ: BASE) is looking for a creative and enthusiastic person to manage our social media channels. In this role, you will be responsible for raising awareness of Couchbase products, customers, partners, developer community and company culture among target enterprise and developer audiences. You will manage all of our social media channels and leverage each appropriately to engage key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for our employee advocacy platform, ensuring new daily content is loaded onto the platform for employees to share on social media. We are looking for someone who is driven, creative, up to speed on the latest digital trends, strategic, collaborative and energized by building programs.
In this role, you will be responsible for (Responsibilities)
- Day to day social media platform management, and advocacy platform including
- Ongoing social media monitoring/listening
- Regular metrics and reporting
- Growing audiences and acquiring new followers
- Driving engagement across social channels with the right content mix
- Being proactive with messaging and events – working cross functionally to ensure that you can build a robust calendar of social media messages
- Staying abreast of social media news and trends, ensuring that Couchbase participates in relevant trends when appropriate
Our ideal candidate will have experience with (Qualifications)
- 3-5 years of corporate social media management across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Discord and more. B2B and public company experience are pluses
- Running live events on LinkedIn and Twitter (management, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Strong understanding of how to efficiently and effectively land strategic messaging on social
- Go getter attitude!
- Preferred: Based on West Coast
