Our team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for building a reliable, scalable, and performant cloud infrastructure and tools to power the Stash experience.

Weve had tremendous growth over the past 2 years and to support these initiatives, Stash will be expanding our team that supports our cloud infrastructure. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be working to build out and scale our infrastructure platform and processes that are the bedrock of Stash.

What youll do:

  • Architect, design, and implement infrastructure services on AWS involving network infrastructure, load balancers, and containerized workloads, as well as application performance monitoring and logging.
  • Lead operational health, maintenance, optimization, and security initiatives at our cloud environment.
  • Coordinate with Engineers, SRE, Backend Engineers, and product teams to support end-to-end delivery of software components from inception to production.

What were looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in building and deploying Internet services and APIs.
  • Experience with AWS and handling applications under high network load.
  • Experience managing containerized workloads.
  • Experience in configuring and deploying Nginx reverse proxies and load balancers.
  • Experience in monitoring production workloads.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking and application protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP/S, TLS, SSH, etc.)
  • A data-driven decision maker who’s willing to take risks, fail quickly, and iterate rapidly.
  • A creative problem solver with a passion for testing, debugging, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

Gold Stars:

  • Experience working with Terraform (or Terraform Enterprise)
  • Familiarity with microservice-based architecture
  • Proficiency with AWS EKS and K8
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Go and Python
