Service Designer Employee Experience (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced passionate Service Design Researcher at a large, global B2B Software company. This role will work closely with our internal partners who source quantitative data on our people and their behaviors. You will design and execute qualitative activities to fill gaps, drill deep, and understand root causes. You will also be a thought partner to internal stakeholders as we use findings to ideate, prototype, and test solutions.
This is a 5-month project (extension possible), 30 hours per week. Remote in the US.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with teammates to develop scalable service design methods and then advocate for their use across the GP function.
- When applicable, train and support partners so they can self-help using some of the more approachable methods.
- For higher touch engagements, create and execute a service design plan to address business and employee needs.
- Conduct data analysis and synthesize findings to generate themes and insights that inform people, process, and/or digital solutions.
- Create design briefs that contextualize the problem were trying to solve and articulate the opportunities lying at the intersection of business viability, technical/financial feasibility, and employee desirability.
- Create compelling stories that blend our qualitative findings with operational and transactional data to inform decision making, drive program adoption, and measure success.
- Run recruiting and operations of our employee panel and the digital toolsets that drive it.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience integrating user research into service/product design.
- Degree in Experience Design, Visual Design, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Information Science, or related fields.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to occasionally work a flexible schedule to connect with employees across the globe.
