As an SEO Content Specialist at Botkeeper, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our SEO content strategy. Your focus will be on creating top-of-funnel content that not only engages but also drives organic traffic through expert application of SEO techniques.


  • Craft high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts and articles targeting specific keywords and topics.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities.
  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on content performance using SEO tools, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm changes to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
  • Developing pillar pages
  • Preparing content briefs
  • Reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
  • Topic clustering
  • Regularly auditing and refreshing site pages
  • Preparing detailed strategy reports
  • Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
  • Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors
  • Filling websites and other content with effective keywords
  • Writing effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts
  • Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
  • Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines
  • Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines
  • Develop content to include keywords or phrases in order to increase traffic to website.
  • Conduct outreach for the purposes of developing link building strategies
  • Conduct various testing methods in design, layout and advertising techniques in order to gain the most organic traffic.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the ever-changing landscape of SEO; keyword research, SEO copywriting, topic clustering and the behaviors of search engines.


  • Proven experience in creating SEO-driven content with a portfolio of published articles.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics).
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for content strategy.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a knack for storytelling.
