The expected salary range for this position is $62,180.00 – $77,725.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. This intermediate specialist delivers digital experiences through a variety of different media and content marketing channels that enhance Compassion’s brand and provide supporters with best-in-class digital interactions.

This specialist drives Search Engine Optimization (SEO), contributes to efforts of audience development, and brings digital audiences from general awareness to active advocacy on behalf of children in poverty. At this career level, the incumbent generally works independently on moderately complex projects or as a team member on larger projects. He or she may coach other specialists.

What will you do?

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
  • Drives efforts to deliver best-in-class, omni-channel digital experiences; actively contributing to the long-term sustainability, and enhancement of Compassion’s brand and overall supporter experience.
  • Design and implement SEO strategies to maximize inbound organic traffic.
  • Perform ongoing keyword and content research including discovery and expansion of market opportunities, including co-optimization of paid results.
  • Draw from performance metrics and supporter insights to enhance the alignment and distribution of content across Compassion’s digital channels.
  • Optimize web page and social media content for search engine optimization; including, but not limited to, titles, tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking, descriptions, and copy.
  • Monitor trends in algorithms, rankings, audience growth, and engagement.
  • Monitor testing (A/B, Multi-variant), reporting (Google Analytics), and analysis of channel performance to identify key opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborates with internal teams in the development and implementation of new content across all digital channels to maximize keyword and algorithm traffic. (YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, web, and more)
  • Deliver effective link-building strategies, conduct outreach, and build relationships with relevant websites and content partners.
  • Apply SEO to video and image content marketing strategies to enhance Compassion’s online presence.
  • Helps others to understand digital marketing strategies, trends, and technologies needed for delivering exceptional experiences; actively contributing to the long-term sustainability, and enhancement of Compassion’s holistic digital experience.

What do you bring?

  • Three years Relevant experience working in this or a related field.
