We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. As the Senior WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading our WordPress development projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, and guiding a team of developers. This is a key leadership position that requires a deep understanding of WordPress, strong technical skills, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership:
– Lead and mentor a team of WordPress developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
– Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices to ensure high-quality development standards.
– Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and recommending new tools or methodologies.
2. WordPress Development:
– Architect, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
– Optimize website performance, security, and scalability through efficient coding practices.
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to WordPress and associated technologies.
3. Client Interaction:
– Act as a technical liaison between the development team and clients, providing clear communication and managing expectations.
– Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, present solutions, and address technical queries.
4. Quality Assurance:
– Implement and enforce coding standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality, error-free code.
– Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to identify and rectify any issues before deployment.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 5+ years experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
– In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
– Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and strategies is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
