Senior Web Optimization Manager




In this Web Optimization Manager role, you will be a Senior member of the marketing team providing oversight and vision to both our B2B web user experience and our B2C Shoppers site. As a data-driven, and results-oriented marketer, your work will be critical to enabling SheerID to continue scaling our marketing program through tracking and experiments to more readily convert website visitors, as well as grow organic traffic.

You will lead the website strategy, oversee and evolve website optimization, and increase conversions using A/B and user testing to inform changes. You will have a hands-on experience managing all website activities, including SEO and analytics and will be responsible for optimizing the website to create a positive user experience.

Our ideal candidate is very strong in Website / WordPress development, SEO, and UX with a focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Essential Job Functions

  • Use data and analytics to drive the roadmaps for each of our properties and build the strategy for how they work together to support our goals.
  • Constantly monitor traffic, funnel conversion, page performance metrics, and ROI to deliver improved performance and communicate actionable insights with stakeholders
  • Work with demand teams to drive qualified traffic growth, conversion and engagement at all stages of the buying and customer lifecycle. Create and manage customer journeys and website personalization.
  • Manage SEO agency to guide strategy, improve user experience, and expand website traffic to grow customer base.
  • Partner with our Growth Marketing and Sales Operation teams to develop and manage our integrated martech stack strategy. Responsible for integrating and optimizing the functionality of analytics and testing tools and building connectivity between CRMs and marketing automation systems (preferably with demonstrable experience with Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
  • Be the expert on our content management system and drive enhancements to architecture that drive scalability, increase user engagement, and conversions.
  • Able to make real-time updates in the website CMS, including minor coding/development changes as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and/or escalate website issues and see them through to resolution.
  • Oversee all web conversion tracking activities, including Google Analytics and Tag Manager.


  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of applicable job experience
  • Knowledgeable on SEO best practices and standards
  • Experience with WordPress. Proficient with HTML/CSS and able to know how to guide other resources and agencies
  • Knowledge of website management and analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and GA4)
  • Proven track record of building, executing, and reporting on digital campaigns.
  • B2B and/or Lead Generation experience
  • An analytical mindset and relies on data to make better decisions
  • Excellent project and process management skills, attention to detail, and a strong can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
