Senior UX/UI Designer
Location: V-Connected / Anywhere in the US
Position Summary:
As UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for evaluating existing Bentley iTwin UX/UI and working closely with product management and technical teams to design the next generation suite of features and products that meet the requirements of our end-users. Our products focus to provide visualization tools for IoT based sensor data in a digital twin. You will help create dashboards, graphs, alerting systems, reporting and 3D digital twin based visualization of this data.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing iTwin IoT UX (user experience) user flow, pain points, and user feedback.
- Work closely with the Product Manager and the technical team, during the UX/UI design cycle to incorporate new cutting edge designs into the application.
- Design and create Low and High-fidelity mockups and prototypes in Adobe XD/Figma/etc for the iTwin IoT SaaS Product
- Apply qualitative research methods to client projects and requirements to adjust the design of the product to their needs and goals.
- Responsible for the product design process, including the planning and management of design stages and the reporting of development progress to senior managers and business users.
- Consider the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of the design with emphasis on virtual reality/digital twins, putting users at the center of the application design to make it simple, easy to use.
- Develop and maintain design prototypes and UI (user interface) specifications.
- Run user testing of the design prototypes and the application to validate their usability and value and to identify areas of improvement.
- Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to the technical team to facilitate the development of the final product.
- Ensure that the application complies with equal opportunities policies for all the users.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- 2-4 Year’s experience as UX/UI designer
- Proficient in UX design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Artistic eye for design and ability to think creatively.
- 3D Environment Design, digital twins
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment.
- Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends.
- Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively with remote/virtual teams.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
