About the Job
We are seeking a senior ui/ux designer for an an industry-leading provider of staff augmentation and consulting services. The senior designer will have a chance to experience the end-to-end process of developing an intelligent experience under the hood and packaged in front of millions of users. As a designer, you will work with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, software engineers, and data scientists, to solve complex challenges and create intuitive experiences that make data scientists’ lives easier and make Machine Learning more approachable to end-users. You will lead in designing for Cloud Data Infrastructure used for developing ML applications, define the best practices of creating intelligent experiences on Devices, and help product teams make that happen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and help build UX vision and strategy for the design team, operationalising the strategy with cross-functional teams.
- Build partnerships, influence, and work with product teams to efficiently implement intelligent experiences that are cohesive and inclusive.
- Define the user flow, low to high-fidelity mocks, detailed interaction specs, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in design, HCI or equivalent practical experience; MS preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a designer
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Sketch, or other design software.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and shipping web-based applications.
- Experience with data visualization.
- Good understanding of engineering audiences and cloud data infrastructure user interactions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
