Senior User Experience Strategist (Remote)

As a Senior UX Strategist, you’ll lead the research, planning, and design of digital experiences, products, and services. You’ll collaborate with visual designers, strategists, writers, and engineers, to produce a range of deliverables that help bring our work into clarity. This includes everything from rough sketches to schematics, from mockups to prototypes. Through workshops, concepting sprints, and various other methods, you’ll contribute to solutions that help our clients improve how they engage with customers and drive growth. This is an immersive role, ideal for candidates excited to work at the intersection of experience design and business strategy.

This role is open to remote candidates with preference for Toronto or NYC.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a clear understanding of our clients, their business, and objectives
  • Support the research process from planning through analysis of findings
  • Lead concepting, ideation, and the design of digital experiences, striking a balance between best practices and innovation
  • Help develop deliverables such as personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Support the planning and facilitation of stakeholder interviews, and workshops
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure we’re considering the full range of opportunities across content, interaction, technology, and integrations
  • Help develop and manage product roadmaps that create alignment on scope
  • Mentor Strategy team colleagues, creating a positive environment for growth
  • Lead presentations to internal teams and client stakeholder groups

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years experience in the digital agency, startup, or consulting space
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating skill, craft, thinking, and expertise
  • Deep knowledge of digital platforms, devices, and technologies with specific focus on web, mobile, e-commerce, and digital in-store
  • Experience across product design, journey mapping, user experience, content strategy, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Experience working with UI patterns, grids, and design systems
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, facilication, and analysis
  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility, SEO, analytics, and A/B testing
  • Experience engaging clients and leading workshops with senior-level stakeholders
  • Strength in presenting, persuading, and selling through ideas
  • Degree in business, design, or communication an asset but not required
  • Ability to work within PST and EST time zone work hours
