The Sr. Technical Project Manager is organized, flexible, and detail oriented with a background in engineering along with technical projects such as product integrations, migrations, and implementations. They will manage multiple software implementations for partners, acting as a hybrid of project manager and technical/business consultant including tier 3 level of support. This person will be the primary technical contact between our partner’s engineering team and our internal engineering team.

You will:

  • Develop and maintaining a technology project plans, outlining a project’s tasks, milestone dates, status, and allocation of resources to stakeholders and other interested parties.
  • Clearly defining and quantifying each step of the project, as well as establishing concrete deadlines for each project milestone and deliverable
  • Assist internal and external resources in the coordination and maintenance of projects with partners.
  • Support customer integrations into the platform
  • Manage multiple software implementations, migrations, or integrations for partners
  • Lead project design sessions and provide guidance and best practices on configuration options and workflow design to meet partner needs
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve on or create additional operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical project plans to drive healthy revenue growth in partnership with Account Managers
  • Lead the collection of key project metrics and health/progress indicators
  • Provide internal and external team members or leadership with consistent updates on projects in flight.
  • Prioritize work efforts based on contractual obligations and timeframes, organizational strategic plans, and resource availability.
  • Forecast project planning resource requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You have:

  • Preferred qualifications
    • 5+ years in a customer facing technical project management role
    • 5+ years in engineering in a SaaS business
    • In depth knowledge of APIs and SSO
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including effectively translating technical verbiage to non-technical users, communicating with end users and C Level executives, and communicating cross functionally
    • Demonstrated success solving problems proactively
    • Proficient with project management software such as JIRA, Basecamp, Trello, etc.
    • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience with sales engineering, technical customer support or professional services a plus
    • Certifications such as PMP, CPM, Agile or Scrum
