Overview
Our self-paced, app-delivered CBT program and our virtual therapy program combine digital tools with human care. As a Senior iOS developer on the mobile team, you drive the design and development of core components as well as new features. You enjoy working closely with product managers, engineers, designers and clinicians to predictably deliver on major initiatives. You help foster an environment of mutual respect and empathy as well as engineering excellence in a remote-first, highly-distributed team.
What You’ll Do
- Implement well-designed, custom native user interfaces as reusable components
- Guide the implementation of our backend API and influence core architectural decisions
- Analyze and optimize code to improve overall app performance and stability
- Facilitate deployments in the Apple App Store
- Raise the quality bar for each release through well-tested code and collaborative code review
- Quickly evaluate new patterns / services using light coding spikes
- Enhance coding standards, developer documentation, and knowledge transfer to colleagues
- Identify accessibility and UX risks and drive their remediation

Experience
- 5+ years hands-on mobile application software development
- 3+ years of experience writing and maintaining native iOS apps in Swift
- Strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Strong knowledge of iOS design patterns, performance recommendations, threading and best practices
- Experience writing unit tests and automating the testing process
- Have participated in the development of at least one app deployed to the Apple App Store, or have been a major contributor to open source libraries related to iOS
- Strong familiarity with AutoLayout and programmatically-driven user interfaces
- Experience contributing to UI and UX decision making process and building reusable component libraries
- Experience with ReSwift or another Redux style data flow is a bonus
- Experience with Rails or React is a bonus
