About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help code, solve core architectural issues, & build the next generation front-end platform for Tebra.

Your Area of Focus

  • Architect & write software that solves complex business problems
  • Perform software design for large components and systems with a holistic view of the system
  • Write software frameworks that can be extended by others on the team.
  • Architect reusable frameworks and components to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Makes recommendations for changes to existing code for performance or efficiency purposes
  • Drive engineering discussions with the team and present a menu of options to management
  • Proactively identify and communicate key dependencies, risks, and mitigations
  • Make recommendations and provide guidance to the Product team during research tasks and investigate solutions that benefit the customer

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience developing and delivering core reusable platform technology to the hands of customers
  • Experience with Javascript & Typescript, using functional frameworks like React.js or Vue.js
  • Experience with Storybook, MaterialUI and Jest preferred
  • Experience with a shared component design
  • Experience implementing applications using style guides and wireframes
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs
  • Able to provide well articulated and reasoned explanations for when and why to apply software design patterns
  • Mentorship to junior engineers, and strategic guidance and empowerment to senior engineers
  • Comfortable with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile environments
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, capacity to mentor junior team members
  • Leadership ability, excellent written and verbal English skills
